Apple Podcasts

Find: If you own an iPhone or iPad, you have Apple Podcasts preloaded on your device. The app is a dark purple icon labeled “Podcasts.” Find and open the app.

Search: Once you’re in the app, find the “ Search ” icon (it looks like a magnifying glass) on the bottom right of the app. Click into it, type the name of the Chronicle podcast you want to hear into the search bar at the top. Example: “Fifth & Mission,” “Extra Spicy,” “Total SF.”

Follow: Once you find and click into the podcast show, tap the “follow” button to have new episodes added to your device for free.

On both Apple and Android devices, you can also listen to our shows on any other podcast app, including Spotify , Overcast or Google Podcasts . You can find these apps in your device’s app store.
